Supernatural love is a lush throw back, explaining how love can transform a person, and make you feel like you can conquer the world. To me the song is kinda sleepy but it’s a good album opener. Aint All Bad is the second track that has a breezy island feel, I can easily hear this song being a urban radio hit. This song will get air play. In the song Fantasia emotionally explains, that while things with her boo where good, breaking up and moving away from that situation is just as full-filling. If I Was A Bird is personally my favorite song.She opens up with beautiful string and piano arraignment, and voice is just as beautiful in this song. it’s not the usual vocal performance from Fantasia. She is reserved and they chose to record her in her middle register for this song, so when Fantasia goes higher her voice is silky and smooth, kinda like Brandy but with the rock and soul that Fantasia brings. Without Me featuring Kelly Rowland & Missy Elliiot. First of all. when you see who’s in the song with Ms Barrino you know the song is gonna be a woman’s anthem, and that it is… Telling the man in question that “as hard as you try, to hide reality…we know the truth” This song will be a great follow up single for this album. Side Effect Of You is a lush ballad, explaining all the pain that comes after the love has gone. I don’t like this song, and I’ll tell you why. I don’t like hearing Fantasia hurt like this, and it’s clear that this song is very personal. It just makes me sad, but, I guess that was the point. Get It Right. is right on the money. the album actually comes alive with this song, the production is slick and gritty, I don’t know how…. it just is.. Fantasia yell’s “GIVE THE MOTHER FUCKIN’ DRUMMER SOME”  This song explains Fantasia’s  Rock & Soul movement best with blazing horns and and hard hitting drums she tells her love he has got to get it right! This song is Fantasia, and I hope she does a whole album using this sound because it works for her. So Much To Prove continues the rock and soul movement, it’s just too short. it’s a stellar track. Change Your Mind is a influence song. And when I say that it’s because you can clearly hear the influence of the great Whitney Houston. The melody is a  little like Ms. Houston’s “I’m Your Baby Tonight” it’s not overwhelming though, and because Fantasia is such a incredible vocalist she just brings this song into a different world. Whitney really would be proud. Lighthouse I like this song. It’s an anthem song. The song samples The Commodores classic “NightShift” and Fantasia certainly serves major emotion in this song, asking “have you ever needed someone so bad, but he wasn’t willing to make it last? It’s a beautiful ballad which also features Fantasia singing in her middle register, which results in a very fine although restrained vocal performance. Fantasia is holding back, yes. it’s clear to hear. But the emotion that is left by her doing that. leaves you feeling  every word she sang.I believe that if she records the arrangement of this song that she sang on the view, this song could be so much bigger. End Of Me is a hard hitting song about how you can love someone even though it will mean the end of you.It’s lush, deep and the background vocals are amazing. I haven’t heard a song like this in a long time In Deep is a great close to this album showing that after all Fantasia has been through she’s still willing to go deep and love someone.This album houses some of the best r&b melodies that I have heard in a very long time. It’s a short album, only 45 minutes long. But, let me say this. you will not skip a track. This album was masterfully sequenced and mixed very well, for me this album is a career win for Fantasia. But then again the girl has NEVER made a bad album. The Side Effects Of You is available right now! So go get this amazing album of Gems.
